In this role, you’ll support composite material development and structural bonding projects that help shape the future of aviation. Your work will directly contribute to high-performance aerospace components through fabrication, testing, assembly, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll DoAs a Composite Technician, you will play an essential role in laboratory operations and composite manufacturing processes by:
Preparing tools, materials, and work areas for composite fabrication projects
Performing prepreg lay-up, bonding, machining, and assembly tasks
Conducting mechanical testing and documenting results
Taking technical photographs for records, inspections, and reporting
Using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and specialized lab equipment safely and effectively
Reading and following visual aids, work instructions, engineering drawings, and process specifications
Supporting team communication and coordinating daily workflow priorities
Participating in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
Maintaining strict adherence to engineering standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements
Remaining flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic lab environment
What We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues independently
Experience following detailed work instructions or interpreting engineering drawings
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Preferred QualificationsTrade school education or technical training
Associate degree or related advanced education
1+ years of related hands-on experience
Experience with prepreg lay-up, bonding, mechanical testing, machining, or assembly
Aerospace, composites, or laboratory experience preferred
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Pay Details: $29.13 per hour
