Your ImpactAs an Assembly Mechanic, you’ll play a hands-on role in building and validating critical aircraft structures and systems. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will ensure every component meets exacting aerospace standards—supporting safe, high-performance flight operations.
What You’ll DoAssemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect structural and system components using engineering drawings and specifications
Perform functional testing to verify fit, form, and function of assemblies
Interpret prints, charts, sketches, and work instructions to execute precise builds
Use shop math, precision measuring tools, and test instruments to complete assignments
Operate and utilize assembly tooling and fastening equipment, including CNC and drivematic systems
Ensure all work meets quality standards and engineering requirements; identify and document discrepancies
Support product flow within the manufacturing process, including material movement and tracking
Perform basic machine maintenance (e.g., lubrication, filter changes, minor upkeep)
Train and assist team members, supporting continuous production flow and knowledge sharing
Cross-train in inspection processes and work toward SIA qualification
Specialized Skills You’ll UseAssembly and installation of aircraft structures and sub-assemblies
Integral fuel cell sealing and precision sealing techniques
Doors installation and structural integration
Pressure and vacuum testing
Precision bench assembly
Experience with fuselage integration and multilayer layup (737 experience required)
What You BringRequired Qualifications10–11+ years of experience in aircraft assembly or structural mechanics
Proven expertise in fuselage integration and multilayer composite layup
Experience working with 737 aircraft programs
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Hands-on experience with precision tools, fastening systems, and testing equipment
Ability to work efficiently within tight production schedules
Preferred QualificationsExperience operating CNC or automated fastening equipment
Background in aerospace manufacturing environments
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members
Familiarity with quality systems and inspection processes

Pay Details: $55.00 to $58.00 per hour
