Responsibilities:
- Assist with disassembly and reassembly of aerospace system components to correct failures or implement design changes.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and support repairs.
- Support repair, modification, and assembly of AH-64 mechanical components.
- Conduct validation and verification testing of systems and components.
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to engineering specifications.
- Assist with safe handling and movement of aircraft systems (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations).
- Follow all safety protocols including torque application, safety wiring, and sealant usage.
- Maintain compliance with work instructions and operate under supervision.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation maintenance, mechanical assembly, or similar technical field preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions in English.
- Ability to obtain certifications in Torque, Safetying Practices, Mixing, and Sealants.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
