In this role, you will lead sourcing initiatives within the global castings commodity supply base, strengthen supplier performance, and execute strategies that improve quality, cost, delivery, and long-term operational success. Your leadership will directly influence supply chain efficiency and support the continued growth of a world-class aviation organization.
What You’ll DoAs a Transition/Sourcing Manager, you will play a key role in supplier strategy, sourcing execution, and commodity performance management. Responsibilities include:
- Champion supplier growth, capability development, and long-term performance across the castings supply base
- Execute supply chain strategies across multiple sites and business units
- Develop strategic sourcing plans for commodities and key suppliers
- Manage relationships with one or more strategic supplier accounts
- Lead the full sourcing lifecycle from RFQ through contract negotiation and signature
- Establish sourcing goals, service expectations, and supplier performance metrics
- Negotiate terms for procurement of direct materials and administer supplier contracts
- Analyze cost data, spanet trends, and pricing to determine fair and competitive value
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, delivery performance, and pricing competitiveness
- Resolve escalated supplier and supply chain issues with urgency and professionalism
- Influence cross-functional teams regarding sourcing policies, procedures, and best practices
- Coach peers and contribute to a high-performing procurement team
- Travel up to 10 as needed to support suppliers and business operations
What You BringRequired Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations
- 3+ years of experience with data analysis, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal oversight
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
- Experience leading contract negotiations and supplier agreements
- APICS or ISM certification
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Background working with manufacturing, aerospace, or direct material sourcing environments

Pay Details: $56.35 per hour
