Working Party Manager

Helicopter Technical Operations supporting Airbus Helicopters;
Aircrew Assistance supporting Airbus Helicopters and ATR;
Airplane Operations supporting Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, ATR, Satair;

We are looking for a Working Party Manager for Airplane Operations Worldwide.
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent contract
Place of work: Worldwide. The candidate must be available to travel.
As a Working Party Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing aircraft repairs projects from the planning phase, through the embodiment and release to service. You will act in a certifying capacity, coordinate the Airbus team on-site and work with our customer to deliver on time, on cost and on quality products to an industry leading standard.
As this role is mainly for structural repair activities, a successful applicant should have spent a considerable period engaged in activities such as heavy maintenance, manufacture or cargo conversion.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing team competencies and allocating work
Carrying out inspections
Certifying aircraft repair tasks in establishing Working Party file and issuing Certificate of Release to Service for the work package performed, in accordance with EASA/PART 145 rules
Ensure airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the Working Party.
Maintain compliance with Airbus 145 procedures
Manage the Customer(s) on site
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Away from our primary activity, the Working Party Manager can expect to be engaged in other activities such as:
Supporting across programs in advisory role
Developing special working party tools
Engaging with other Airbus department on cross projects
Supporting Airlines and MROs in advisory roles such as troubleshooting and repair embodiment
Note: this role could require extensive travel. All applicants should be prepared to travel for long periods on short notice.
QUALIFICATIONS (mandatory):
EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License Cat B1 (and B2 and C are an added advantage)
Airbus aircraft current Type Ratings in B1 category
5 years certifying experience in a supervisory role
Excellent command of English; French, German and Spanish are an added advantage
REQUIREMENTS:
5 to 10 years experience in a part 145 environment
experience in working abroad is a plus
excellent communication skills
proven experience in managing teams
competency with IT tolls, such as G-Suite, SAP, Workday, AirNavX, Airbus World
competency in structural aircraft repair (added advantage)
flexibility and agility
Previous work experience with budgets, schedules and quality
ability to work autonomously
ability to take initiatives and decisions
team player
