Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 months)
Location: Hazelwood, MO
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift 9AM-5PM
Pay Rate: $22.10 to $34.45 per hour
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
Process customer transactions using POS systems with accuracy and integrity
Open and close the store following established procedures
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries professionally
Receive, process, and track incoming and outgoing merchandise shipments
Maintain inventory accuracy, stock levels, and organized stockroom operations
Execute merchandising standards, floor sets, and product displays
Process returns, exchanges, Mark Out of Stock (MOS), and Return to Vendor (RTV) items
Coordinate inter-store transfers and special customer orders
Support annual inventory counts and ongoing cycle counts
Restock merchandise and ensure shelves are consistently organized and appealing
Monitor store safety, cleanliness, and facility maintenance needs
Communicate customer concerns and operational issues to leadership
Required & Preferred QualificationsRequired:
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of retail, customer service, or related experience (or equivalent education/experience combination)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
Professional demeanor and commitment to customer satisfaction
Preferred:
Previous experience in retail sales or inventory-heavy environments
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
Experience handling POS systems, inventory tracking, or stockroom operations
Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in changing priorities
